Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Not financial advice. Intrinsic is a portfolio tracking and research tool. Everything shown here — valuations, projections, dividend estimates and market data — is for information only, may be inaccurate or delayed, and is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Always do your own research and consider speaking to a licensed financial adviser.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Intrinsic (the "Service"), a portfolio tracking and investment research application. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What Intrinsic is — and is not

Intrinsic helps you record your holdings and transactions, track dividends and performance, and run your own valuation models using third-party market data.

Intrinsic is not a broker, dealer, custodian, investment adviser or financial planner. We do not hold your money or assets, we do not execute trades, and we do not provide personalised investment, tax or legal advice. Nothing in the Service is a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any security.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • You may not share, resell or provide access to your account to third parties.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully or to infringe anyone's rights;
  • scrape, bulk-export, resell or redistribute market data, or attempt to build a competing data product from the Service;
  • probe, overload or interfere with the Service, its infrastructure or its third-party providers, or bypass rate limits, paywalls or security controls;
  • reverse engineer the Service except to the extent permitted by law.

5. Market data and third-party services

Prices, fundamentals, dividend records and other market data are supplied by third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Brokerage connections and imported statements depend on third-party systems outside our control. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any data, and we are not liable for decisions you make based on it. Always verify figures against your broker's own records.

6. Subscriptions, billing and refunds

  • Some features require a paid subscription. Prices and billing periods are shown before you check out.
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as merchant of record. Paddle's terms and privacy notice also apply to your purchase. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Except where a refund is required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. If something has gone wrong, contact us and we will look at it in good faith.
  • We may change prices with reasonable prior notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

7. Your content and our intellectual property

You keep all rights to the portfolio data you enter. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to operate and improve the Service for you. The Service itself — software, design, models and branding — remains our property or that of our licensors.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may add, change or discontinue features, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for investment losses, lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
